This week we set the students a creative piece - to write a poem based on a piece of pre-existing art (ekphrasis); last week Heidi wrote an incredibly evocative portrayal of Medusa inspired by Duffy's poem. Heidi really managed to capture a sense of the character's anger and we love the way she structured the work - as if mimicking the flow of consciousness of Medusa.
